学校实地考察

We are going to the natural history museum next Friday. We will leave school at nine and return by two thirty. The students will learn about dinosaurs and geology, which ties into our science unit.

Please pack a lunch and a water bottle. We will eat in the museum picnic area. Also, comfortable walking shoes are a must — we will be on our feet most of the day.

That covers the museum admission. The bus is paid for by the school. If the fee is a hardship, please let me know privately — we have a fund to cover costs so every child can participate.

We would love to have you! We still need two more parents. You would be responsible for a group of five students. Before you can chaperone, you do need a background check on file with the school.

Usually about a week. You fill out a form at the front office and show your ID. They run the check and let you know. Since the trip is in two weeks, you have plenty of time.

Keep your group together at all times, follow the schedule I give you, and make sure they behave respectfully in the museum. I will give you a checklist and emergency contact numbers the morning of the trip.
